Certified Professional Trainer (CPT)

Program Introduction

Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) Program is designed for trainers with minimum 2

or more years of experience as an internal or independent trainer. The program is

built around 15 competencies that a trainer should have, to design and deliver

interactive and practical training programs.

The 5 days of learning experience covers following focus areas

  • 1.Neuroscience of Learning

  • 2.Setting learning objectives that are aligned with individual and organization needs

  • 3.Instructional design models and process steps

  • 4.Essentials for effective training delivery

  • 5.Conducting a demo session with feedback

  • 6.Evaluation and transfer to training to workplace

  • 7.Independent work project (course design & trainer manual)

Program Objectives

After attending the course, the participants will be able to:

  • 1.Describe three (3) neuroscience based approaches to enhance learning acquisition and retention

  • 2.Apply 3 levels of Learning Need Assessments using case examples

  • 3.Analyze the application of 5 models of Instructional System of Design (ISD)

  • 4.Design the structure of a chosen course, its objectives and breakdown into sessions

  • 5.Develop an ISD project for the chosen course – Compilation of trainer’s manual

  • 6.Implement the training sessions using GLOSS, EASE & OFF Models

  • 7.Evaluate the effectiveness of training course using Kirkpatrick Model

  • 8.Learn coaching and support techniques to enable transfer of training to improve workplace performance.
